Using Multimedia in Legal Proceedings

Video Broadcasting or Cybercasting

A text, audio and/or video of a legal proceeding can now be broadcast over the Internet using a regular telephone line. Counsel or the court may find this strategically important for a number of reasons. Counsel may send the live court proceedings back to their office, to co-counsel, clients or their expert witnesses who are not present in the courtroom. This would obviously save an immense amount of time and money to allow these parties to not have to travel to the courtroom to hear the proceedings.
